NUTRITIONIST VISIT
NUTRITIONIST VISIT (CONTROL)

Dr. Francesca Romanelli, dietitian, conducts nutritional screenings with bioimpedance testing at our Empoli location

The first nutritional visit includes:

  • Patient's pathophysiological history (past or current diseases, family history, taking medications or supplements)
  • Lifestyle survey (type of work and physical activity done), eating habits and preferences, and relationship with food and one's body
  • Short- and long-term goal setting and customized strategies
  • if the patient wishes, measurement of anthropometric measurements (height, weight, circumferences) and assessment of body composition (hydration status, fat mass and lean mass) through bioimpedance.

After a few days, the material developed to support the patient in the pathway will be sent.

Subsequent meetings have a frequency to be agreed upon according to the situation, and involve discussion of any difficulties encountered, changes in bringing, perceived improvements, as well as the taking of anthropometric measurements and assessment of body composition.
