The Lifenet ETS Foundation was established in early 2025, with the goal of being a focal point for the welfare of local communities by promoting high-impact initiatives in the social, cultural, environmental and educational sectors.
The Foundation is inspired by the values of solidarity, inclusion, sustainability, responsibility and social innovation, committing itself every day to generate positive and lasting change and to contribute to the improvement of people's quality of life. It works in collaboration with public and private entities, associations and institutions, sharing the vision of a more just, equitable and aware society.
Among the Foundation's first initiatives is the "Lifenet National Eyewear Collection," a project carried out in collaboration with the Francesca Rava Foundation - NPH Italia ETS.
The goal is to collect used or new eyeglasses at some of the Lifenet Healthcare group's health facilities to donate them, through solidarity networks, to children, families and people in need in Italy and Latin American countries. Each pair of eyeglasses will be labeled and cataloged by the Lifenet Foundation to ensure their correct destination.
The initiative involves eight group facilities, including Eyecare Clinic Brescia and Milan, Poliambulatorio Clinico Modenese, Erba Hospital, Lazzaro Spallanzani Medical Center in Reggio Emilia, Siena Eyelaser, Regina Apostolorum Hospital in Albano Laziale, and Piccole Figlie Hospital in Parma.
It is a simple gesture that becomes a symbol of circular solidarity, capable of uniting health, inclusion and environmental sustainability.
