It was 1954 when Prof. Manfredo Fanfani founded the Fanfani Institute in Via della Pergola in Florence, with the aim of proposing a "Clinical Research" project in Diagnostics, both Laboratory and Imaging. Being ahead of his time and investing in innovation, he immediately introduced methods of laboratory automation and high-tech diagnostic instruments, in a welcoming space that differed, even then, from other healthcare facilities, testifying to the importance of care in the warmth of an environment reminiscent of home.

Today, we remain the interpreters of a territory where our Health Project is rooted: a daily commitment to listening to the person, investing in scientific research and technology, being socially responsible, sustainable and always guaranteeing quality.
There are many who have chosen Prof. Fanfani's care, benefiting from "personalized" treatments. From the Mayor of Florence Giorgio La Pira, Oriana Fallaci, a close friend of the professor, Mario Monicelli, who chose it as the location for the film "Amici miei," Professor Barnard, the author of the first heart transplant in the history of medicine, to famous artists such as Rapisardi and Guttuso, or important institutional figures such as Nancy Pelosi.
